Pack Update: Week of Sept. 4

Hello Pack! Welcome back to school. I hope your first (and second) days back are awesome. Relax into your new schedule and enjoy a week off from scouts.

In this update:

OPEN HOUSE INFORMATION

The next TWO WEEKS we will have Emergency Preparedness-themed open houses! These activities will check a few boxes for your scout’s requirements, but much more importantly, it’s a chance to invite the community in to see what scouting is about. Whether you are helping with a station or not, please be friendly and talk to any visitors we might have, answer questions and help them see that scouting is a fun opportunity.

We still need volunteers! Let me know what station you’d like to work at:

SIGN UP TO SELL FIRST AID KITS!

Please tell me how many first aid kits you are committing to selling. See attached sellers sheet for more information about the kits.

Each family should commit to selling 5-10 kits. We will also have a booth at Oktoberfest to sell any remaining kits.

These are really nice kits and the price is the same as found in stores!

You can get kits and promotional materials from me as soon as tomorrow evening!!

NOTE: If you cannot or do not want to sell kits, you can “buy out” for $100 in pack dues per scout. Either selling kits or pay dues is required. Once the kits are sold or dues are paid, your scout will receive a red hoodie to put their patches on.
